DATA SCIENTIST

Job Description

Responsibilities

Establish a competent delivery team for data science research & implementation

Lead data science research to implement cutting edge data-driven solutionsProvide end-to-end delivery leadership to team

Run proof-of-concept engagement with clientsPrepare, execute, monitor and report delivery plans

Primary liaison for clients on data analytic delivery

Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks

Ensure quality and efficiencies in deliveries

Collaborate with peers from custom solution team to introduce analytics solution

Requirements
Academic degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or relevant studies

At least 5-year of proven experience in data analytics & data mining in commercial field

Exceptional knowledge of R or Python programming and data visualization tools

Solid understanding of relevant technologies (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, etc.) and cloud utilities

Outstanding leadership in team development and management

Strong business acumen and skillful in people engagement

Exposure in financial services industry is a strong plus

Excellent written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Able to accept challenges and cope with demanding timeline
Willing to travel for overseas assignment
